Apparently, the O.R. M. E. ruled her cause of death as suicide. I'm bothered by details in these two reports. Can anyone see where an autopsy was done? I realize the box of sleeping pills she had purchased was empty. However, originally it was announced the amount of OTC sleeping pills weren't enough to be lethal. Does the note in her vehicle make science disappear? Plus law enforcement and the M.E. made the decision together.

Asphyxiation, usually is what happens in strangling or smothering. There are far better words for the M. E. to use.
Plus, her gas tank was full. It's not like a C.O. was used.
I seem to be the only one who gives any credit to her new onset headaches which she couldn't get to stop. Where does it say in any report how the M.E. accounted for her headaches? There can be multiple reasons for h/a's including depression. However, the etiology of her headaches deserves some WORK to be sure. If the M.E. didn't perform an autopsy, that person needs to be held accountable. Other causes of h/a's could be different birth control pills, a leaking aneurysm or other previously undiagnosed AV brain malformation, a brain tumor that reached a certain size and more.
Please post if you can find more information about whether an autopsy was done? It matters for women (possible medications she may have been taking and are they safe for other women), it matters for her family to make sure a tumor or abnormality wasn't present in her brain as other family members could have the same abnormality. And it matters for OR residents. If what was found at the scene so the M.E. opted not to do an autopsy, OR has more problems than they currently list.
Nothing is "nice" about an autopsy. But it gives answers. I don't even know if any toxicology or other labs were run. Again, please post here if you can find something that documents the M.E. did an autopsy. Thanks
Here's the other artiicle.
Oregon mom whose disappearance sparked search committed suicide: police
Maybe the media is taking a shortcut and not bothering to ask about an autopsy because of her neighborhood and other factors.
