Or Abe Vigoda. He seemed old back in the 70's when he was on Barney Miller.

Didn't we already have the third? It could be Don Pardo of Saturday Night Live fame (the announcer).

Yeah, I heard she stopped breathing during throat surgery and is now in a medically-induced coma. Would that be some kind of plastic surgery she was doing? I cannot understand why someone her age would continue doing all those unnecessary surgeries. She is risking her life to look not younger, but more and more freakish. I think some people get addicted to plastic surgery to the point of it being extremely unhealthy. Michael Jackson was the same way.

Was a scope for her vocal cords and I hope she pulls through! She has had so many sedations my bet is they screwed up! At 81 I'm sure the risk increases but it wasn't surgery and she's had so many sedations without issue.

If it were done at the hospital, they could have monitored the oxygen. Apparently she was not getting enough. This confirms that you do not have surgery done in a surgical center or doctors office, but in a real hospital. for these kinds of reasons.

ok but back to Joan - to have surgery on vocal chords seems like she may have had cancer. if it were cosmetic plastic surgery, what would that possibly accomplish? it had to be something like an illness or disease to make her do that. maybe she was losing her voice, or too hoarse, so maybe it was something like that. it doesn't seem to be an elective surgery, i mean all the cosmetic plastic surgery is for stuff that the world sees, not something on the inside, so it seems like that would suggest she had a disease, or illness or maybe something to try to change her voice because she didn't like it, or something.. i dont know.

I'm guessing Joan was likely having the vocal chord surgery as an elective surgery to remove any wrinkles that existed there, you know...to pull them tighter, younger looking. Probably her colon was going to be next.
