Loved him. He wouldn't be heard these days, not good looking enough to be marketable. What a voice and what a talent Joe was! Amazing talent.

Sadly I agree.

I was never a big fan, and think I really only like a song or two of his. Still he sang with a passion and it came out in my favorite song of mine he sung, Up Where We Belong.

Many of the 60's & 70's stars will be passing in the not too distant future, and we will have lost a great generation of singer/song writers.
Virtually every one of them had more talent in their little finger(ability to play instruments and carry a tune live without studio tricks)than many of the pretty boys/girls that pass for talent today.
