Mine too, we had a huge can of spackle to fix the holes where heads went, butts went...
Every time I was pregnant (three times), I literally prayed for a little girl. After growing up with three brothers and their bad attitudes and physical violence, I didn't think I'd be able to handle a boy. BTW, I had three girls.
Jeez..how awful. of course the obvious question is how in the heck was a gun accessible to a 13 year old. In any case this is just terrible.
lets see if we can figure this one out---
violent teens raised on a steady diet of violent music and movies, disfunctional families, and very easy access to guns..thanks NRA

gee do you think that just about covers it??
Do you have a link to back up your statements or theory? If not, back to the children's table you go.

I didn't know the NRA made music or movies. I also didn't know they oversaw families.
The parents are now paying because of their own negligence. There is a law here in Florida that the parents can be arrested and charged for allowing minors unsupervised access to firearms. They never enforce it in these cases because they feel the parents have suffered enough.
Something tells me that if the gun hadn't been so readily available, another weapon would have been used instead. Probably plenty of knives around if they had an average kitchen. But the outcome might not have been quite so lethal. If & when the truth comes out, this kid probably had more issues with his siblings than just a food dispute.

Yes, certainly we can clearly see that the gun laying around is in no way the problem, because in houses without guns we're always reading about how people murdered their entire families with random things found in the kitchen.
