65-year-old German woman, mother of 13, gives birth to quadruplets | Q13 FOX News

FTA:
The 65-year-old German grandmother recently gave birth to quadruplets, making her the oldest woman ever to do so.

The new arrivals increase her progeny to a total of 17 children. And let’s not forget her seven grandchildren.

Raunigk, a single mother, gave birth last week to three boys and one girl after a pregnancy of just under 26 weeks, the German broadcaster RTL reported.

Giving birth is an ordeal even for most young healthy women. I can't imagine what it's like for a 65 y/o to go through that. Gotta be rough.

I hope her older children will be willing to take over parenting when Mom is too old to do the job properly.

No, the doctors who did it are out of their minds, and implanting more than one embryo was absolutely asinine.

The single mom used donated fertilized eggs and decided to become pregnant again because her 10 year old daughter wanted a younger sibling.

Seems pretty ridiculous to me, 65 years old and so many kids already, she should just adopt if she wanted more kids! How is she supporting herself and so many kids at that age? Crazy.

How are so many German women able to seemingly defy the aging process? I have met a few German women in their 60's who didn't look a day over 40. It's amazing
