But you started this topic....about a s'more. Do you feel that warrants a pat on the back to start a topic on such an insignificant subject? Is this a life changing event to talk about or just another thread to add to your list?
I went camping this weekend & forgot to buy s'more ingredients. I love s'mores.
Answers to your questions:
No, pat on back isn't necessary - But for such an insignificant subject, it certainly has drawn interest and much vitriol from those who claim to have absolutely no interest in it.
No - It's certainly not a life changing event for me. For that, one would have to actually take the First Lady seriously.
I love S'mores too. (the real kind) Thank you for being civil with honest questions.
This thread is absolutely hilarious. I appreciate everyone who intentionally and unintentionally (you know who you are) made this thread so entertaining.
'Murica. A country "with daily shootings, killings, completely corrupt politicians, huge budget problems, and a slowly dying economy and yet we get huge amounts of false outrage over a" recipe.

Amazing! You-know-who will come back spinning more falsehoods, attaching more non-sensical post-count images to prove that he didn't have that recommended drink. ...or maybe he had too much. LOL

Cali Doll, please. Stick to the topic at hand. And try to be serious.
Who cares about the science behind the advice...what matters is that it appears she gives a damn about what people eat.
Ok, first, let me say that I actually ate Smores as a Girl Scout.....and passed the "habit" down to my kids...so
However, I agree she is trying to at least address the issue. A few smores around a campfire certainly doesn't cause any harm, but people please, take a look at what we as a nation consume! People don't even know how to cook anymore, unless you consider putting a fat laden, sodium laced, chemical "meal" in the microwave
ATG5, Calidog, Finsterrufus, Ringo1 and anyone else on this list.
Thank you for participating in my topic. It's been very entertaining for me as well. You are all very fine people, I'm sure.
