I don't know how accurate this is or even if it's true. That's a large number but really if they only lost 500 it's still a lot of equipment to lose.

I really think we need to shed these fleas.

Iraq lost 2,300 Humvee armoured vehicles in Mosul: PM

Not a single dime should be sent to them, nothing. This has been a failure from day 1.

But they weren't lost. They simply fell into the enemy's hands. Personally I would of disabled every one of them where they weren't easily repairable. Hell torch them of you have to.

No, the iraqi's threw up their hands and ran away screaming like little girls. Pretty much proves my point that you cannot make wolves out of sheep.

Disgusting! thanks for wasting our tax money! I heard that the Iraqi's greatly outnumbered the enemy (ISIS) or whichever ragtag band was roaming around at that time. What the heck is wrong with these chickens? I don't get not wanting to protect your homeland?! Our people died for their freedom, and they can't even face a few fighters who they could have blown up or rolled over in a matter of minutes. They could learn a thing or two from the Kurds who put them to shame! Yet we have been letting them flounder in great need of equipment, supplies and back up. What a bloody mess!

I read somewhere that the Iraqi soldiers were pretty much 'ordered' by their leaders to simply GTFO out of Ramadi once ISIS started making a move there.

Seriously, did anyone out there think these people would actually fight?

We spent over 10 damned years in that country, and in those 10 years, anecdote after anecdote tells of inept soldiers who would rather screw around than fight, who ran than confront the enemy.

What did those fools in Congress think repeatedly throwing money at this bottomless pit?

And some politicians are now talking about sending in more American troops in a surge. Are they freaking kidding me?

We have Americans who can't find jobs, can't find enough to eat or find a roof over their heads, our OWN countrymen that are suffering, and yet our politicians continue to send billions over there. Jesus Christ.

At least Saddam, as bad as he was, kept his country in check.

It probably isn't so much that they are cowards as that they don't have a good reason to fight. The country of Iraq doesn't mean much to them, not enough anyway to risk getting blown up by a suicide bomber or captured and having to face Allah-knows-what kind of torturous death at the hands of IS.

The Obama administration is an "equal opportunity" arms merchant. We supply our enemies was well as our allies with weapons. Only the enemies don't have to pay. I'm waiting for them to spin it as a jobs creation program.
