If he can't get a lawsuit going, he can at least sell the rat on ebay.

I first heard it long before the internet or 24 hour news networks in the early 70's when they were Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Sweet. I like my rat extra crispy with side of coleslaw and wedges to boot!

Not a rat. When you cook a rat it gets much much smaller, rats have very little structure and very little meat. Looks like a chicken thigh with loose skin as the "tail." The publicity damage is already done, bravo internet non-news news.

What some bum wants to sue the KFC for money? Oh please I doubt a rat in any state had found it's way into KFC. It is chicken and if rat, well it was planted. We have had bogus claims by customers about finding rats, razors, etc in food at restaurants and planes.

It's an urban legend that has been around for decades. The version I heard in the 1960's had a high school couple buying the chicken and then eating it in their car at a drive-in theater, where it was too dark to notice until the girlfriend bit into it and realized it was not chicken. Gruesome but totally untrue.
