If the eight-yr-old kid was armed, she could have protected herself. We should move to give conceal carry permits to kids so they can better protect themselves when at home from their irresponsible parents.

Clearly some of you do not seem to understand the nature of a bullet, the gun went off 1 time, the bullet traveled through the moms leg and then into the childs head.

The only thing that needs to be amended concerning gun laws is that there needs to be an IQ test, of course to be fair we need to add that requirement to drivers licenses and "breeder" licenses too.

No, you don't get it.

Kids will not get in such arguments when they know that other kids are armed. Which in turn, make for a safer and more behaved kids society.

You expect gun owners to pass IQ tests?

You may as well just ban guns and call it a day.

A valid question.

The gun fired twice? By being dropped?

Yeah, right. What did it do, drop, fire, jump up and drop again in just the right way to fire once more?

A lot more to that story than the agenda presented here.
This does sound very strange, doesn't add up!

Why would the other children be in protective custody if there are no longer guns in the home?

More to the story. No one wants to say because...
