Pretty funny, but no worse than many other dumb laws on the books.
Mt Prospect IL had a law forbidding the firing of torpedoes in a park. And it's not on the ocean.

She was trying to show how sexist the GOP and New Governor Matt Bevin's beliefs were that he was pushing through regarding women and abortion....that the government was trying to stick it's nose into where it doesn't belong - between a woman and her Doctor....and she was applying the same standards for men wanting Viagra, to show how sexist some of the bills and thought processes were.

You can't compare a pill for sex to a human fetus inside a body.

Exactly....she wrote the bill saying he could only get it, if he was married, and his partner signed a release - if they wanted....point being the Government sticking it's nose in where it really does not belong, ignoring a citizens
choices and privacy rights to just name a few.
Once again, she was trying to prove a point, rather than in reality enacting a law in the sense she was trying to put men into the position so that they would know what it is like to have lawmakers and the Government put itself between their privacy, their rights and their own Doctor.
She did it mostly to try to make a point about gender/sexual injustice and to strike some awareness.

Quote:
“I started thinking, ‘How would this body of men feel if the government was injecting [itself] into their private medical decisions,’ ” she added.

Can I just write myself a note if I need it to "amuse myself", as my French teacher used to say.

I love Pat Condell. He puts these problems rightly He's been warning nations for years and years. He has a sarcastic wit to him about these issues.

And in New Jersey, our left leaning legislature churns out restrictive laws that make no sense as well. We The People can not win. The powers that be want to micromanage our lives. This guy can not be a true conservative. No true conservative would want big government.
