I'm no fan of the TSA, but the agent was doing her job. Dad was so outraged by this *violation* of his daughter that he posted the video online for everyone to view.
He's sending the wrong message to his daughter by acting like a brat himself.
And as Suburban Guy said, they all left the juice box in her luggage, so what do they expect?
If more people complained about this nonsense it would stop. People like you, with attitudes like yours, are the problem.
If you dont like how the airlines check to insure your (generic your) safety and the safety of the other passengers, then dont fly. Its your right to choose to fly or not. Its the airlines right to insure safety, as much as they can, in this dangerous world we live in.
Hard to believe that father would be such a jacka@@ about that.
Hard to believe the things people will justify and defend. TSA could start doing anal cavity searches of every 3rd passenger and people would come on here and call anyone who complained a jacka@@.

OK I'll bite. What is your airport security solution? The United States averaged over 5 aircraft hijacking a decade since the 60's. With the exception of 911, there has only been ONE!!!!! That's 15 years of incident free hijackings. The airlines suck at security and there is a track record that proves it. I'm interested in hearing your expert opinion regarding airport and aircraft security.
Dad seems like one of those people that likes to complain over nothing. I think he set this up by putting the Capri Sun in the luggage. There was nothing about that pat down that was obscene. I'm surprised nobody said nothing about him filming in the airport.
I was in uniform, going to Kuwait, just dropped off by my coworkers, also in uniform. By the time I got to TSA, coworkers were leaving THANK GOODNESS because I stupidly had worn an underwire...you know. So the woman says "I'm going to have to run my hands..." and she demonstrates on herself. I was a bit shocked (thus the ). She says "I'm not going to GROPE you" (that was the word-of-the-day associated with TSA back then) She then asks if I want to go into a private room. Was she going to buy me dinner? (I didn't say that out loud.) They proceeded to go into great detail with the search - mind you, I'm in uniform on military orders. THEN they swab my hands for traces of "explosives". I had just dropped off my revolver at my neighbor's on the way to the airport. I was praying hard by then. I really thought I might not be making that flight to Kuwait. But no. All was well.
I don't fault them for doing their jobs but ya know? A little common sense, people.
Because a U.S. soldier is incapable of committing a crime or terrorist act?
they got to search the 10 year old because they wont them do their job, they need to profile but all we hear is profile is wrong, so everybody get search
