Prosecutors are seeking possible victims connected to an Uber driver who has been charged with raping a female passenger after he picked her up from a bar in Fullerton.
I wonder what the most common first name for Rapists is?
Article says he is 52. How is it that a guy can make it to the age of 52, not rape anyone, then just decide to rape someone at the age of 52? (or maybe he just hasn't raped anyone in this Country, in for immigration status).
I am shocked, shocked, that a company whose business model generally involves ignoring local livery registration requirements has a problem with drivers breaking the law.
What concerned me the most was how the guy was only caught when he returned back into the US.
How does Uber continue to operate in such a reckless manner allowing anyone with driver's license that is easy to fake and how do we background check someone that hasn't lived the majority of his life in the US?

Exceedingly good question. Obviously he hit the road when he found out they were looking for him, waited for things to cool down and came back.

Dollar signs come to mind. And isn't it just coincidence that they don't use a fingerprint check? But, after all, she is/was probably an infidel so she deserved it.

El Nox
Here we go again. Raping the poor kid had nothing to do with her being an "infidel" and everything to do with that sick f#%^*s suppressed sexual tendencies. The thing about their stupid religion is that it teaches them to degrade women. If someone has very little regard for their own mother, you can imagine what they think of women outside their immediate family. They cover up women in their own society not because they are infidels but to reduce incidents of this nature (my opinion of course) Effing Barbarians.
As long as UBER or any of these ride programs hires anyone that simply applies and there is no background checks expect things to happen. I'm sorry the young lady had to go through that ordeal, and hopefully they can prove it and send him to jail.
When an Uber hero in Chicago used his legal firearm to stop a gunman, the company was quick... no, it was almost INSTANT in releasing a statement and banning all its drivers to legally carry their weapons (and, for a minute, in 99.99% cases - permit to carry = clean criminal & background history).
When an Uber scum rapes a woman, company is nearly silent. No statements, nothing. How about reviewing hiring policies and releasing another statement prohibiting rape?
