But the average thief doesn't care about an arrest. He's not going to jail and has no good reputation to protect.
Really do you know this thief personally that you would know he does not care about being arrested? The man was running away so obviously he did not want to get caught.
I use to read a comic book about some guy who didn't care about a thief running away. Thief wound up killing his granddad or something like that.
Moral of the story thieves are worthless human beings who should not get a chance to expand on their evil.
But of course all the liberals sing along.....

There was a kid who would steal candy and merchandise from a store. Never got caught. I hear he became a doctor and saved lives. One reason why it's nice to detain them then kill them.
A guy dies while trying to steal from a store and the government puts the security officers in jail. No wonder tge whole liberal world is in the crapper.
He didn't die because he was a thief.....he died because he was murdered....but then, I guess it's OK to murder thieving old men.

Guess he didn't realize that his thieving would be used as an excuse for others to MURDER him.
We all do things we may not like, or regret....doesn't give others the right to MURDER us.

Where's your cutoff point? I guess the thinking is that we don't like thieves, so some of you say just kill 'em. I don't like right wingers. Shall we just kill them, too?
We have a justice system. Imperfect, yes. Perhaps the most perfect in the world, also yes. Why not use the justice system, instead of vigilantes.
