Eman Ahmed, from Egypt, is believed to be the world's heaviest woman. According to her family, she weighs 1,102 pounds (500 kg).
"Eman didn't live life as everyone does," Shaimaa Ahmed, Eman's younger sister and carer, tells CNN. "She didn't enjoy her childhood or youth. She's been battling with her illness for 36 years."
According to her family, Eman has barely left her bedroom in over two decades. Unable to move or communicate, she spends her days trapped inside her family home, staring at the ceiling.
When I saw the word "Bombshell" all I could think about was Brigette Bardo and Sofia Loren. Back in the day bombshell was a word used to describe a hot woman not a big blob.
No one gets that big without help. Who is enabling this woman and others like her?
There was an earlier thread on this unfortunate woman; apparently she suffered a disabling stroke at a very young age, and things just went downhill from there. I hope her family is able to get her the help she so clearly needs.

Exactly. Using it this way in conjunctiom with her flying implies that she might even be pushed out of the plane as a weapon.

I think what makes her especially interesting to the physician is there is more going on then someone just over-feeding her, which could come with some answers about people and weight.

More like a time bomb. Her organs must be working very hard to keep her alive.

It's possible that brain damage may have played a role in her eating disorder, depending on what part of the brain was involved by the stroke. Damage to the hypothalamus can lead to intractable obesity.
