An Oklahoma City woman accused of dressing up as a witch and abusing her granddaughter was sentenced to life in prison on Thursday, officials said.
Geneva Robinson, 51, was ordered to serve three consecutive life sentences, KFOR reported. In February, she pleaded guilty to multiple counts of felony child abuse.
Robinson's boyfriend, Joshua Granger, also was sentenced to life in prison for allegedly beating two children and aiding Robinson.
3 consecutive life terms does sound a little excessive.
i too am appalled by her behavior and agree she should be punished but 3 life sentences? WTF? When we can barely get some rapists and murderers incarcerated.... This is crazy.
Where was the mother of that child? Story is seriously lacking.
While I agree 3 life sentences was surprising is anybody really upset at that sentence?
Exactly - where is the mother? The father? Why did it get to the point where the brutality wasn't discovered till this witch "was going to take the child to the hospital"? Did nobody at school notice anything? And while this woman needs to be flogged (yes, they should bring it back for crimes against children), 3 life sentences seems a bit excessive.
Damn right she should get 3 life sentences! Its about time a child abuser gets what they deserve. Now on to child molesters and rapists...
