Day after day some story about some gruesome or inhuman causes of death. This need to do more harm than just killing them, they have to make it gruesome, this evil seems embedded in our society.

The man who killed his wife because she laughed at him.

A woman walking on a beach sank above her head in sand.
No other person caused it but it is a case of a gruesome death.

A man in Colorado killed two teens over a purse execution style.

Man puts wife or girl friend in a freezer and locks it. She dies.

These type of stories never end.

These types of crimes have always occurred. It's just that we now have 24/7 "if it bleeds, it leads" news channels and the internet to fill our heads with stories of murder, child abuse, and other violent crimes. You hear it long enough and you start to believe the world is truly falling apart. After awhile one can easily believe that our world is nothing but evil.

The good news is - it's not any more evil than it ever was. It's just that we have passively allowed our eyes and ears to absorb every gruesome detail, in full color, with expert analysis and opinions from panels. Shut off your tv and computer for a day, a week, a month and get out into the world and it's fairrly easy to restore your faith in humanity. I've done it and it works!

It's all about getting clicks. The more shocking the headline, the more people will read, and the more advertising money they will get.

330million people and counting in this country.

Think of the worst person you know of out of 1000 people you knew from highschool for example.

There are 330,000 of them in this country.

And the worst things they do of course make the news.

Unplug your TV and get out of the house is my advice.

Time to turn that stuff off and go for a walk outside. Here's a link for your walk outside. I love this song.

Mere child's play compared to some of the really shocking stuff going on. A simple google search of what's going on in the prisons of Brasil and you'll never look at life the same way. If there were ever any doubt that we are no more civilized than a chimpanzee, well, just take a trip to Brasil.

Because if the news was sunshine and rainbows, no one would watch. Ratings would fall and they would loose advertising money.

Doom and gloom will always lead news. Things are NOT as bad as it would seem.

I heard about one man killing his brother, all because God favored his brother's sacrifice over his own
...it was in all the papers.

First of all, these stories were never supposed to be told and then spread around the globe. It used to be that horrible crimes that happened in someone's particular part of the country was an anomaly and something only THAT community was aware of. This is the result of a tainted and disgusting Satan-filled news media that chooses to focus on the horrible things that happen in the Earth rather than the good which happens FAR more often than not. Second, people choose to continually tune in to these awful stories and make these news organizations money which makes them spread more negativity and fear. Once we stop ingesting the bs, things would change.

I can tell you're not a Discovery ID fan. Some of the things I see on that network are awful.
