This truck was carrying 15-30 million honey bees. I'm glad to hear that local beekeepers were called in to help clean up this accident.


Semi Carrying Millions Of Bees Overturns On East Texas Highway

LAMAR COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) – A semi-trailer truck carrying a reported 15-30 million honey bees overturned on an east Texas highway on Memorial Day. It happened on southeast Loop 286 near the Old Clarksville Road intersection in Paris.

Not to mention the farmers that were depending on them. Pollinators are becoming scarce in the US. The supply is dwindling, and just dwindled a bit more, though the article said they were trying to lure the bees back into their hives.
