Signed off last night because I was depressed. May never return. Ads still follow me around.

Facebook is just such a waste of time and battery life.

I killed two birds with one stone deleting it from my phone.

Now my battery lasts almost a day longer on average and I'm not as glued to a damn screen all the time. I use it sparingly when at home on the iPad or laptops.

The Messenger side app is also redundant. It's mostly annoying guys trying to slide into your DM's at ungodly hours. Everyone that I actually care about has my number.

I dunno if I'll deactivate, because I'll probably come back, but my usage has went down substantially...for the better,

As of now.

Facebook - dead.
Snapchat - dead.
Twitter - dead.

Instagram - I use it often, and because of the fact that all of these freaking do the same thing, it's pointless to cycle through all of them especially if you have similar followers on each. They're all "linked" to one another which just creates more redundancy. I much prefer the interface and layout of Instagram. I also like that you don't need a separate battery hogging app just to talk to your friends. *cough* Facebook Messenger.

I could do without the other 3. Instagram is still pretty fun, and the bulk of my friends are more active on that.

No, but everyone has already "migrated" to insatgram and snapchat.

No one uses facebook anymore beside posting memes and joining groups. Instagram is so much smoother and easier to use.

It's sad that Zuckerberg or whoever would think cluttering up facebook would make it better. You log on and it's just a bombardment of crap everywhere trying to grab your attention.

I don't post a lot but I still look in several times a day. No reason to close my account.

Not a chance of deleting my account right now. I LOVE seeing pics of my friends, their kids, their events, things they're going to and sharing, their vacations, great local places to hike, cute videos about funny puppies, etc.

I could never be so connected to friends and acquaintances and extended family without facebook, and I check in every day.
