A couple who claim they were kicked off a cruise ship over their rowdy love making is now suing the cruise liner.
The German couple, identified as Renate F and husband Volker, were removed from the TUI Cruises Mein Schiff 5 vessel while docked in Barbados for the first day of its two week Caribbean cruise in April, according to the Reise Reporter.
The headline conveniently doesn't mention the loud arguing they engaged at 1 am in after the sex, which was probably the security concern that got them booted.

Yes, it was the couple themselves who decided it was the love making that got them kicked off and not the fights. Sounds like they were some pretty serious fights. Making love loudly doesn’t sound like a “security related incident” which is why they were kicked off.
“TUI Cruises told Reise Reporter the guests were removed to protect “themselves and other fellow travellers”.
“The safety of our guests is our top priority. Due to a security-related incident, we have made use of our house right and asked the guests to leave the ship,” a spokesperson said.”
This incident is benign with all the cruise ship stories in the news in recent years. Outbreaks of diseases, people falling over the railing and ships breaking down on the water. Add all the alcohol related puke, pee, and obnoxious behavior and cruises seem way less fun then advertised. Some really cool ship designs, but thats all.
I'm not much of a cruise person (boring) but suspect the odds of you having issues related to puke/pee on one are pretty slim, especially to the point it affects your vacation.

I've been on 7 cruises, and I've never once experienced any of the things you mentioned. Not saying they don't happen, because obviously they do. But it's not routine.

I think they're doing it wrong. According to pretty much every movie ever made that addresses this topic, the couple is supposed to argue FIRST, then make up with a hot, steamy lovemaking session.
What if it was the woman who was making all the ruckus. Is it ok to kick the crap out of her. The cruise line did the right thing. Its unfair to ruin other peoples good time because 2 people are crazy.
