Maybe there’s no ladder to heaven — but one kindhearted postal worker just might have a direct route.
Every year on their father’s birthday, seven-year-old Jase Hyndman and his big sister Nieve, 10, write a letter addressed to their late pop, who passed away in 2014.
this year, a Royal Mail office manager named Sean Milligan spotted the note — and was compelled to assure Jase it had been safely delivered.

Like others, I got a little weepy-sentimental over this.
...until I thought about it further. Jase to Mom: "How come Daddy never answers my letters?"
Eventually this kid is going to realize that it was impossible for his letter to reach heaven because there wasn't enough postage on the envelope. And would it go air mail?
Just another thing to add to his list of make-believes....
Santa.
Tooth Fairy.
Easter Bunny.
Tall Man.
Mail Carrier in Heaven.
(I know this is a very heart warming story and I should treat it as such but I just dumped all my emotions into Sully laying in front of his BFF's casket)
... and lastly, the postal worker got fired for opening and reading the letter addressed to someone else.
lay offs and firings are a way of life in the USA, hopefully people wise up in 2020.
