It took four years, three miscarriages, and 1,616 IVF shots to make the perfect baby photo happen for one couple from Arizona.
I'm gonna say it. Adopt. Don't shop.

Honestly, this is sad to me. They have kids from previous relationships, had lots of physical issues, but I guess they have lots of money to be able to do anything and everything to have a child. Why not adopt if you have the money? They can't say "we want one of our own" because they're gay, so they'll never truly have one "of their own". Ugh. We really need to make adoption or accessible and affordable for people.

The picture of the baby herself is quite cute. However, having thousands of needles pointed at her really detracts from the soft and cuddly image.

After Patricia and Kimberly O'Neill welcomed their rainbow baby London on August 3, 2018, they knew that they wanted to pay homage to their difficult journey of becoming a family of three, which took years filled with both emotional and physical struggles.
What's a "rainbow baby"? Also, the choice of name doesn't do anything for me.

A rainbow baby is one born subsequent to miscarriage(s), or stillbirth.

Thank you for clarifying.

The story should have included this information, as it's not really common vernacular. Especially considering the same sex nature of the relationship, I think most people would think it has something to do with that.

Sorry, I can think of a lot better ways to "commemorate" how coveted a baby was. Like donations to charities that benefit existing children they couldn't bring themselves to accept. Not some addition to a vanity wall. Can't relate to "parents" so desperate to validate themselves through reproduction (even if it is biologically possible). They've relegated themselves to a whole different world. Hope they raise a decent human at least.
