I've never heard of anything like this happening.

It happens every few years. Sometimes they just appear to fall out of the sky and don't appear to have hit anything.

Happens frequently, especially on migration routes. Windmills are another problem concerning bird fatalities.

I have heard of that happening and of sea creatures massively beaching them selves (sound more like mass suicide.)

It has always been a mystery why this happens. Hypothesis go from alien UFOs going in the sea and doing something that drives the animals crazy and their attempt to escape it includes beaching to something affected the leader and the followers, well, follow him everywhere including death. It could also be part of climate change as the rising temperature of the water could be an issue for some animals, though stuff like this was already happening before climate change becaome a thing.

I wish they would stop designing buildings like this. They are huge glass monstrosities and bird killers. That's just my personal opinion.

Birds have no idea they are flying into glass as they only see the reflection of the sky and surroundings.

I have read about it in relation to some other building, and it seems that the location of this building may be an issue.

I just finding it both side and upsetting, and perhaps more planning and research needs to be undertaken in relation to the impact such buildings have on wildlife.

it's humans fault. I know we see ourselves as better than birds, but it's sad. 1000 birds die...but we try to help 1000 people who will end up being losers. All reasons why I'd rather help animals survive than most humans
