Without taking any sick leave days!
Damn, talk about a strong work ethic.
She looks forward to a bit of traveling now.

I feel sorry and think she had a very sad life. Just work, eat, sleep. What a waste.

Good for her!

I think it's great she loved going to work, and also that so many people gathered to celebrate her retirement.

Your posts sure sounds a tad judgmental. What a waste? She was able to what she loved for over 70 years, and harmed no one in the process. We should all be so lucky.

If you do what you like to do then its never a waste.

It says she never took a sick day. Never said she never took a vacation or days off.

I don't know that I'd go that far, but I don't disagree entirely. Life is not work. Never taking a day off isn't admirable. I hope she does get to enjoy the time she has left.

Says she never took a sick day, but she probably took her vacations, not to mention she had at least one son so maternity.

Great for her, some seniors have no social lives whatsoever. She had it, with her coworkers and customers.

Exactly. Calling in sick burdens the employer, and doing it when you're not sick is simply dishonest.

Her work record is a testimony to good health and character.
