Mt Bike new shift cable. I'm getting some binding in 1 x 1, 2 and 3. Typically do you run the set screw all the way in and back it out or the other way around after barrel adjustment?
Ya, ok. I'm trying to avoid jamming my derailleur into my rear spokes like what happened after my local shop "tuned" it.
The stops should prevent it from doing that, and cable stretch doesn't affect them. So step one would be make sure the stops are adjusted correctly.
