It's not really a "town". It's a cut out in the middle of Carrollton and Plano. Kinda like Buckingham isn't really a town but there's a tiny section in Richardson called Buckingham.

It doesn't actually exist in any meaningful sense - it's just little bits and pieces that haven't been incorporated into a city.

Forty years ago, it was a town with lots of land within its jurisdiction; but without lots of money to provide fire, police, and such, larger, neighboring cities (Carrolton, Plano, Lewisville, and The Colony) starting annexing the land.

50 years ago my dad tried to get his new bride to move way out to the country to Hebron. Her thoughts, "there will never be anything out there". HA!

It used to be a town but not much of one. I remember when the little store was still open in town. It wasn't much of a town. Then it got swallowed up by Carrollton, Lewisville and Plano.
