Ditto...I am thinking of screening/glazing in my patio and removing the carport from my property. I'm sure the carport was built because the previous owners turned the garage into living space but I turned it back into a garage so the carport is not really needed. I like having covered outdoor space but I figure I can just as easily (and more comfortably) get it with a screened-in patio.
So whoever gets recommended to you is going to get a call from me too!

Yeah, I tried just looking up stuff on line, but there are a lot of places whose web pages don't exist anymore...then there was this one guy who was on D Magazine's 'Best of' list, but no one ever answered the phone...bullsh*t...I am not doing business with someone I can't even contact.

The Texas Board of Architectural Examiners (TBAE) regulates Landscape Architects, Architects and Interior Designers. Google their name and you can locate professionals who are licensed. Licensed professionals are more than likely to carry errors and ommission insurance. Here is a name I came up with on the site:
