Hello, I will be moving to Dallas in two weeks and I'm looking for a quiet place to live. Safety is number one priority and also good parking since I notice there's alot of parking problems in some of the complexes. I will be working near Cockrell Hill and want to find a safe nice quiet place close by there. Looking for 1 bedroom, price range is 800-900. Any suggestion would be great! Thanks!

I know a couple of people who live/have lived here.

The apartments themselves aren't terrible, but that neighborhood is hit-or-miss. Going east toward the Tollway isn't too bad, but going west and the area immediately surrounding the complex can be a bit much.

It looks like Trinity Lofts is in the Design District. That area is pretty industrial, but there are some nice homes in that area. IIRC, they are building that area up because of the Trinity River project. I don't know anything about Trinity Lofts specifically, though.

And I've never heard of Northend Apartments.

Northend Apartments is the apartment complex right next to Victory Park. It used to be the only thing there and now it's dwarfed by the W, the new Perot Museum, etc. The apartments themselves aren't too special but it's becoming an increasingly great location. You're right at the foot of Uptown and next to downtown and the West End.

Ok. I saw that when I googled it, but didn't want to assume since OP left out the "Jefferson" part.

Looked at 5225 Maple Avenue and liked it, but didn't feel safe in the neighborhood.

If you are truly looking for a quiet place, you might try finding a rental in the M-Streets. Check Craigslist--there are smaller places in your price range in the area. Stay north of Belmont and you should be fine safety-wise.
