No. Remember, I'm from Texas. I'm the kind of liberal who is pro-choice, pro-gay marriage, vegetarian, against shredding the social safety net...

...but who also favors lifetime limits on welfare, supports welfare-to-work programs, is a STRONG supporter of the second amendment, and thinks we have way too many goddamn lawyers in this country messing things up. I actually have a picture of myself wearing a PETA t-shirt and holding a 12-gauge shotgun. Texas.

Not red, not blue. Purple. Or ORANGE...because I'm an independent cuss.

You'll understand once you live here, if you get the job.

I don't LIKE to get nude, I just like the freedom to do whatever the hell I want whenever the hell I want in my own house. Again...independent cuss.

My own conclusion - someone is desparate enough and scared enough of Perry to post ancient history that few care about.

we were all young, dumb, and irresponsible at one point. It's the growing pains, trial and error, and mistakes that also help shape us into productive adults.

While I agree that college grades are not the biggest part of Perry's story anymore, I also believe that when the leader of the free world walks into a room, there should be no doubt who the smartest person in that room is.

Leadership doesn't equate to intelligence. You can be the smartest guy around, and a terrible leader. By the same token, you can be a terrific leader, but dumb as a stump. And in our political system, good leaders aren't elected, good politicians are.

The smartest people know enough not to waste their time in politics anymore, and will instead be advising those same politicians. They'd rather not waste half their life on the campaign trail, and instead try to do something productive, beneficial, and maybe even profitable with their lives...

I think that transcripts should be factored in. I would definitely say 'nay' because of them. We only pick 1 person for president and 50 people for governors. Given such a small pool, this people should be stellar and top notch in every way. I think we end up with these doofuses (and I include Perry as one) because the bar keeps getting lower and lower. We should be picking people who are much more accomplished than ourselves and we should be very picky about it.

No. It's literally a no-lose proposition for him.
