Bubbas @ Snider Plaza--they will double fry if you ask them so it is super crispy....Great fried okra as well...Agree with TC80--Babes may be the same family, but definitely not the same product!

^ The area Rudy's is in will be sure to scare some on this forum.

I like Bubba's and Babe's.

It isn't, but many will think it is because it's in south Dallas and many in north Dallas believe that everything south of I-30 is unsafe. I think you probably already knew the answer to your question (north Dallas perception of south Dallas), but I'll go ahead and throw it out there anyway.

loves2read, I tried Cains and was surprised at how awful it was to my taste buds and expensive too. I am perplexed at how a recipe like that can yield so many locations. I have a love hate relationship with fried chicken and tenders. I guess my grandmother's( God rest her soul) will always be the best in my mind and nothing else can compare. So maybe I am not the best judge because I either will love it or hate it.

If someone can ever tell me of a place that cooks it up where it is crispy on the outside but tender, moist and flavorful on the inside with it not being so greasy you hurt, I will go try it.

For now, I use Sylvia's Fried Chicken Mix at home. Our household loves it and it satisfies our craving. I will only make it though once a month, fried is fried.

I totally agree. I would rather go to Popeye's or Chicken Express for their tenders than Cain's again.

Chicken Express and Rasing Cane's if you want drive-through convenience...

Never tried Bubba's. Babe's is, hands-down, the best, even though it is a little on the expensive side. Just wish they'd allow us to take leftover side dishes home. Never understood why they don't...
