The lack of replies in this thread should tell you something.

Here is a partial list of things I have found, and I have only lived here since July 3. 2007.
Transplanted from New Jersey.
There is plenty to do in and around Dallas and Texas as a whole. Some things are a drive, but it's worth the effort when you have to get outside and actually do something.

That is because we have all been out doing things in the area There is no time to be bored around here. It is more like, time to chill and just say "no".

This question has been asked a couple of times on here so below are the links of other threads w/ the same question.

FYI, The State Fair of Texas is getting ready to start and that is a MUST do.

Exactly... I personally don't usually even read these posts anymore - it gets tiring typing the same things.

It tells you that the question is so broad, and the opportunities in this metro of 6 million people are so numerous, that listing them one by one is impractical. When you find yourself in a huge metro such as San Francisco, Boston, Philadelphia or Dallas, you can find virtually anything you want.

I liked the gay dance clubs in dallas. Also other dance clubs are good there too. There is a lot to do in dallas and there are several theme parks in cities close to Dallas.
