OK, to clarify, maybe not a midpoint location, but somewhere that could be somewhat of a happy medium. Mapquest can only help so much so figured I'd ask here My friend lives in Euless and I live in Plano (by Tollway/121). Whenever I visit her, I basically take 121 down to 360.

We plan on meeting up in between so we can take one car driving into Dallas for an event at the AAC. Logistically, where would you consider a reasonable location to meet up that would be "on the way" ? I offered to pick her up directly from her home, but she thinks it would help to meet closer towards Dallas. Where would you recommend that could be a reasonable (meaning, somewhat populated and safe in the evening) meet up location? Where 161/PGBT and 183 intersects? Given that I never use that route to bypass DFW (since I use 121 to 360) I am not familiar with that drive and what is located there, and was hoping that others could chime in and help a geographically-challenged person out Would appreciate any input on if there are restaurants easily accessible off the highway. TIA!

I would not leave a car in that area of Irving, especially at night, unless its in one of the hotel parking lots. Leaving it at Irving Mall or one of the shopping center parking lots (especially after closing time) would be just asking for it to get broken into. It's not a very good part of town...

There are all sorts of restaurants in that area. Chili's, Olive Garden, Spring Creek BBQ, etc.
