Anyone know if there is a stomach virus outbreak in the DFW area? I picked up some dinner from a new Kroger in Wylie Sunday evening, by next Monday morning I wasn't feeling so hot. By noon i was crawling and spewing from both ends. Its now Wed. afternoon and Im just now starting to get some relief. Major abdominal cramping, body aches all over, expulsion from both ends.......Freaking Horrible. Just wanted to know if anyone has heard anything or had this recently.

Yeah, that sounds like food poisoning. A bad case of it too.

The stomach bug thats been going around seems a lot less hostile. I got it two weeks ago and it lasted for 3 days, but it was never really that bad.

Of course, there's all that crap that's been all over the news lately regarding the virus associated with fresh vegetables and fruits. Surely you didn't miss seeing that on the news, did you? Even stated how many supposedly cases in DFW.

It causes diarrhea and other flu-like symptoms.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says the infection has been reported in Iowa, Nebraska, Texas, Wisconsin, Georgia, Connecticut and New Jersey. Most of the illnesses occurred from mid-June to early July.
