I can make it to the other side of Fort Worth (Saginaw) in 2 hours.

Even if people don't use it, I think the option of having another mode of transportation is a big deal for the region.

DFW is also a huge regional employer and they aren't generally particularly high paying jobs. Seems like this might make it easier for a good number of the employees as well.

Read the same on Dallas urban forum last year on the trip from Downtown to the last station on the Orange Line now. This is why I say Heavy Rail> Light Rail. I wish Dallas system was heavy rail. Still this is great news and when I fly to Dallas, I will definitely use it.
