Can anyone offer advice on the best time to go to six flags when the crowd will be lite?

Just like anyone else I want to maximize my time there.

Thank you all in advance

When there is a big chance of rain. We hit it one day like that a few summers ago. NO CROWDS or lines at all. Never broke a sweat either and it never rained. IN JUNE! It was great.

When I used to work there the lite days were Mondays and Tuesdays. Granted that was a really long time ago but I'm sure the same would still hold true. Most vacationers will go back to reality on Sundays and the next wave of vacationers won't descend on town until late in the week.

If you want to really maximize your time at 6 Flags, get a Flash Pass...they cost more, but they are really worth it when you get to skip an hour+ long line.

Best time to go is the 1st of October when the weather is great, the State Fair is on & the kids are in school.

The place is vacant.

anyone have advice on parking? Can you park somewhere nearby and not pay the outrageous $15 parking fee?

can you drop of a group of teenagers and pick them up later?

There is an lane to the left of the parking booths where you can drop off and pick up.

Often there is parking at a nearby restaurant or hotel - look for signs - that is cheaper; sometimes $5.
We parked at one of these once right before the entrance and it ended up being a better parking spot than if we parked in the huge 6 Flags lot.
