I am weighing my options to consider a home at coppell greens, coppell.

I will appreciate if somebody can give me answers on 2 questions.

1. How much is the property tax in Coppell greens.
2. Why are there so many homes on sale in Coppell greens. Is there anything fundamentally wrong with this area?

Thanks.

Hi there rub,

The tax rate for Coppell Greens is 2.44, lower than other places in Coppell (2.79) because it is in Lewisville ISD. There are about 225 single family homes in this community and only 9 are on the market for sale. I don't think that's bad at all.

Nsumner,

A follow up to the earlier question, there seems to be a lot of homes on sale just on kilbridge lane in coppell greens.
Homes on this street seem to be on the market a bit longer than others.
Any particular reason you may be aware of why so many on this street are on the market.
Rubadubdub: If i may ask you, are you still looking into coppell greens, maybe we can exchange some feedback?

Thanks

Hi there, well, there are still just the 9 homes for sale in Coppell Greens but one of them is under contract. There is really no particular reason for why some homes stay on the market longer than others, may be the way they show or lack of staging, the marketing, the curb appeal and of course, usually the primary reason the price may be off.

Without going into specifics, here is the day on market (dom) for these:
80, 140, 62, 129, 194, 34, 31 and 170

The one at 140 is on Turnberry
The one at 194 is on Kilbridge and is simply overpriced (they started by asking 264)
The one at 170 hasn't been reduced at all since day 1 at 285K

12 homes sold in the last 6 months in CG with the following DOM
32, 6, 8, 43, 35, 22, 28, 45, 1, 12, 25 and 24. As you see, all in the single and double digit... 2 of these were on Kilbridge.
