I will be parking on rt 180 between AT&T Way and Eastern Star Rd. Have to go north to Oklahoma City. Sunday 3:30 game. Would heading south first make a difference?

Try taking DART's purple line. It'll take you directly to downtown Dallas.

The only tough part of the traffic is getting out of the stadium parking areas. Once you get to a major highway, its pretty smooth sailing.

Humperdinks in Arlington offers a $15 r/t shuttle between their restaurant and the stadium. It allows you to bypass the craziness of the stadium exit and get onto the interstates faster

This sounds like a good deal. But I'm not parking in a stadium lot. Will be parking in a restaurant parking lot through park whiz.com. It is on route 180. About 15 minute walk from stadium.

From what Jenn says it sounds like I'll be ok. If rt 180 is considered a major highway.

Division is an "old" highway--used to run between Dallas and FTW--
not is is a big/old city street--3 lanes each way in some places and just 2 lanes each way in others

Best route for the least amount of traffic would be to take Division East to 161/ George Bush Turnpike and then hit I35. Just about all of the traffic will be trying to get onto I30. Division seems to move pretty quickly, even with the lights.
