CAF(Commemorative Air Force) is relocating from Midland to Dallas Executive Airport. Is this a good move for Dallas or could the city have found a better way to use the money being granted to CAF? I attended their air show back in October and as a WWII fanatic, I loved it! I'm confident it could help improve the area economy.

I think it can actually help them if they do it right. We were down at Dallas Executive Airport last month for a flight and dinner deal we got on GroupOn. We were very impressed with the flight and the food at Delta Charlie's was fantastic. We were pleasantly surprised. And are planning to go back again during the fair since the flight definitely goes right over that area and would be cool to see from the air.

My husband is a big fan of the CAF and has visited their museum in Midland when he was there. I'm sure we'll make some trips down to the museum once they get it up and running. I think it will definitely be a draw for the airport.

Great news for Dallas Executive Airport! I work within view of Addison airport and saw the sole remaining airworthy B-29 when it landed there, which was possibly the highlight of my entire time down here. Nice to see some things happening south of downtown rather than the everpresent tilt towards the north.

Man.... I love this!

2 airlines based in the metro, 2 major airports, rich commercial aviation history (Braniff International, anyone?), aerospace manufacturing in the metro - we have quite the aviation cluster in our area!
