I previously owned a home in another state where the local power company performed an energy survey on our home and gave us credits to upgrade the insulation and ductwork. The survey cost about $75 and we received over $2,000 in credits to make energy efficiency upgrades.
After a quick Google search, it looks like Oncor has an incentive program that may be similar:
Home Energy Efficiency - Take a Load Off Texas . Does anyone have experience with the program? Is it worth pursuing? We're looking to upgrade insulation and ductwork in a home we recently purchased in Dallas.
