we went to the DPS to practice parallel parking between 2 poles today and I have a few questions about the graders expectations.

1. the 2 poles that we are to parallel park between are quite a bit away from the curb. I didn't measure, but I'm guessing the pole in the front is about 48 inches away from the curb, and the 2nd pole is about 40 inches away from the curb (not sure why the difference). Do they want our car to be in the 'center' between the 2 poles, or do we just need to be within 18 inches from the curb?

2. there were 2 sets of poles and one of them seemed a bit harder to park between (unsure why). Do we need to parallel park twice, or do they just have you do it once?

3. also, in general, for the exam, do they test reverse parking, uphill/downhill parking?
