Both are really good. I have specific hair - so I always ask who can do my hair best. Maybe pop into both places and talk to the receptionist and see which one will fit your hair best.

Try Annette at Sweet 200 first. I think you'll like her - her hair is short blonde (last time I saw). A lot of people like her.

I'd do a coupon, why not?? There are many jokes about me and my coupons...nothing to be ashamed of!!!

You can get a mani-pedi there, but not sure if the girl who does them is back after having her baby.

The same girl also works out of a house in Munger Place...and in this house is a guy who is great with hair too...I can dig up their info if you want it.

Just know things...

Actually, I have a phobia or a strong dislike for a "salon scene"...it's just not me. So I get my haircut by a lovely Irish lady who works out of her converted laundry room over by White Rock Lake.

And I get my toes (and eyebrows) done by the girl at Sweet 200, but I go to the house in Munger Place. That way I avoid the salon scene.

oh see i feel the opposite - don't you feel like you have to be chit chatty the entire time b/c its just you two? i guess if you know her, it's okay but i always hate having to feel like i have to talk w/ the person cutting my hair. i want them to focus!!

thanks again for everything - i'm off to bed; tomorrow is a brave's game (really a rangers game here but they're playing the atlanta braves so that's why we're going...) and hopefully getting my hair cut. eventually i have to find a job - boo.

update: i went to orange and let todd cut my hair. he was great and hilarious. i called annette at sweet 200 but she couldn't get me in until tuesday and i have a couple interviews next week i wanted to feel trimmed up for. so i will save my coupon until next time. i think b/c todd is so pricey, he may be an every other 6 weeks hair cut!

thanks for the advice!!

and pepper - today is my hubby's birthday and we got two little mini cakes from rush. just plain vanilla cake w/ vanilla buttercream icing and she put little white chocolate shavings and glitter on them. they are beautiful. we took photos! and they are so good!

why did we have to move to deep ellum?! it's too much!!! haha!
