This is ridiculous. The high today is 105 degrees. I am so sick of this heat. And it hasnt rained here in about a month.
I was looking at the current temps map on the wether channel .com and I see that SW arizona is a bit hotter than here but Dallas is pretty much second in the entire country for hot temperatures. I am looking forward to Fall. This heat is terrible.

This heat does not bother me much at all. 100+ with only 30% humidity is nothing to me. I grew up in Louisiana where the humidity was extremely high. Thats something that drives me crazy! A dry heat is not bad at all.

Well Im from Florida where it gets to 100% humidity just about every day. I think humidity and 90 degree temps is better than dry 105 degree weather. The heat is just flat out dangerous around here.

I don't mind the heat too much or humidity either. the humidity is great for my skin and hair which is the one thing I like about Dallas vs Denver. But geeez it's too HOT! I can't even take my kids out for a walk in this heat.

We went out looking at houses and my 15 month old wasn't looking too good and we had to rush home. It's just too hot out. I hate being cooped up inside.

This is still nothing compared to 1980. 69 total days with temps over 100 (42 straight), it hit 113 two days in a row, the temperature didn't drop below 80 for most of the summer. It was horrifically hot.

Yes - it's hot, but it's summer. It's supposed to be hot in the Southwest.

Yesterday I saw 108 degrees here, but the humidity was in the low 20% range, which makes it bearable as long as you are in the shade. Phoenix was even hotter with slightly lower humidity.

Personally I would rather it be 105 degrees with low humidity rather than 85 with high humidity. High humidity is what I don't like.

Give me Dallas' 100+ summertime temperatures with low humidity any day compared to the thick and sweaty air in the Southeastern states. It's common in those states (e.g. Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Louisiana) for the humidity to be so high that you're soaking wet even with a temperature of just 80 degrees. I can't stand that... And when the temperature in those places gets into the 90s you look like someone has soaked you with a hose - your hair is wet and so is your clothing. It's commonplace to see sweat dripping off people's chins as they sit in the shade exerting no energy.

It may get hot here in Dallas, but at least it's bearable compared to many areas that have lower temperatures but higher humidity.

Waht gets me is not the hot days so much but...the nights! I can take 100-105 during the day, if it cools down to the 60's at night.

OUr youngest got overheated SWIMMING the other day!! All red faced and blotchy the pool was hot not refreshing at all.

Please rain...my poor plants are weeping.

It's always going to be worse somewhere else... It's 115 and 0% humidity in Death Valley today. but I don't want to be there either. Doesn't mean that it's 'not so bad here' because it is.

our evenings I seen it 98 degrees at 9pm. I am not sure how low it goes over night but I bet never below 85.

It rained last week, I think it was Thursday. I was driving from Allen to Rockwall and it rained very heavily for about 4 hours...

The pools haven't been refreshing at all. The water is too warm.
