Hi guys!

I don't normally post on the Ohio forums because I live in Las Vegas, but I have to travel to Dayton to pick up a travel trailer in about three weeks. I don't know the area as I have never traveled east of Chicago by car before.

I need to find a full hook-up rv park in order to check out all the things the trailer can do, i.e. make sure all the electrical items turn on, make sure the toilet flushes and shower drains, etc., so I can take it back to the dealer before I leave the area if there are problems that need to be addressed.

Any parks that are open in November within 30 miles of Dayton would be great.

I realize this is not the best time of the year to visit Dayton, but that's how it is ;-)

Any hints about weather would be greatly appreciated. I used to live in Missouri, so I know to expect a good chance of rain, not sure about the snow possibilities.

Thanks!

The KOA around Brookville should be open. Most campgrounds are seasonal.

Otherwise, look into Buck Creek SP near Springfield or John Bryan SP near Yellow Springs. As far as tourist experience goes, John Bryan would be hard to beat.

Good luck!

If the ones that SWOH mentioned don't have full RV hookups, there's something called Enon Beach that supposedly does that's right by where OH 4 breaks off from I-70.

I was going to suggest the same place, knew the guy that owned it and he used to host our group get together every year but it has been a while since I have been there.
