Thought this would be good to have on the forum, especially for any lurkers out there that want an idea of what's going on this week / month / year in addition to our regular posters who want to know what is up.

What I would really like to see is some new posters come in and mention their event(s). Then maybe they will stay for more discussion. And this thread will be great to have for all the people considering moving to Dayton to give them a good idea of what's going on around here.

To start off, here's a couple of good links to "event sources" in the area:
www.mostmetro.com
ActiveDayton.com Entertainment, News & Information for Dayton,... | www.activedayton.com
Dayton Local | Dayton Ohio Things to do, Events, Restaurants, Shopping, Services

And the first event - Shakespeare + Warped Wing Beer at the Library downtown.
Dayton Metro Library plans ShakesBeer networking event to change perceptions - Dayton Business Journal

Should be a good time!

DMM(Most Metro) is probably the top site of the pick. On their social media pages, they have two "spin off" pages.....On Stage Dayton and Dayton Dining . There are free ticket contests on the regulars too.

The "bike to work" crowd at Riverscape today was insane! Yearly pancake breakfast. I would venture 500 people easily, maybe way more. Not sure of the total for the 2 hours, but had to be 1000
