Flood Zones in DE (Bowers: buying a home, buying, design)

Is there some kind of map online that has the flood zones in DE? I am so ridiculously scared of buying a home and experiencing flooding that I want to research the heck out of any location we are considering.

Very timely post. This past weekend, the Delaware State News published a very comprehensive report with many photos of the great flood of 1962. Not much to speak of since then in the way of flooding......I mean, nothing comparable to that, and we've been here forever. Directly along the water, of course, you may have some flooding from time to time, in places like Bowers Beach, Fowlers Beach, Woodland Beach, all located right on the Bay. Nevertheless, here's a link to the FEMA site. Plug in an address, and the map will come up. The dark areas of the map indicate lower land. An "X" means not in a designated flood area. AE or other, means the property is in a low lying area. When given the choice, select VIEW, not BUY.
