Locals here have been guessing for months, and none of us were right. It's not a gas station, pharmacy, bank, or other.

At the corner of Lochmeath Way and Rt. 13 (in front of Lowe's-Camden) the new building is Cheddar's Casual Cafe'. I never heard of the chain. Has anyone else?

We have Cheddar's here in Greenville, NC. Their prices are very inexpensive due to not advertising. You can pull up their menu & reviews are on Trip Advisor. 2 pieces of Talapia & 2 sides $6.99. Dinner for 2 with non-alcoholic drinks for under $20.00. There is always a wait here. Food is nothing fancy just standard and inexpensive, but good for a quick meal.

They really do have a menu that would apply to anyone. Mr. k had their breaded chicken tenders & they were very good, they bread them fresh every day. I love their little mini parfaits .99--but made a big mistake last month & ate 1 (chocolate) on an empty stomach & it whacked my sugar into overload--will not be doing that again.

Friends of ours came down here a couple of mos. ago from Jersey & we brought them there. 2 steaks, salmon & rib dinners & sides, 2 alcoholic beverages a piece & the bill before tip was $60.00. We paid that the day before at the beach for burgers for lunch.

My brother has been to one in Texas and says it reminds him of an applebees, tgi fridays and the like. Its o.k. he said. Will be nice to give the surrounding restaurants some stiff competition though! Maybe there will be price wars.

Lots of Cheddars in our area....they are all a cut above Applebees, etc....better food and better service, also a tad more expensive. Never heard anyone say they did not like Cheddars.
