I am over 40 and terrified about getting my wisdom teeth removed. I have a consult with Dr. Eugene D'Amico in March. Has anyone heard good things about this doctor? OR who have you used in the past? Thanks.

I don't know anything about the doctor you mentioned, but I know of a wonderful doctor for wisdom tooth removal in Seaford, Delaware named Dr. Mullen. Many people I know have used him and everybody goes on and on about how great he is! My husband had a wisdom tooth removed by Dr.Mullen with just some numbing via a needle (wasn't put under via gas) a few years ago and he didn't feel a thing.

Like you, I'm over 40 (well...40) and I still have my wisdom teeth. I only have two, and they have not caused me any problems. One is partially erupted and has been for seven years without any issue. However, should it become an issue I will be going to Dr. Mullen. He's a Harvard grad as well--truly one of the best out there.

Here's his info:
8466 Herring Run Road, Seaford, DE 19973

Thank you all very much for the recommendations, however, I live in Middletown so Seaford would be quite a hike for me. I can go to Newark, Middletown, Wilmington, Dover. If anyone has any more suggestions that would be great. Thank you.
