Interested as in buying or renting? Budget. What are some things they are interested in terms of needs or wants as far as housing? Access to stores? Social things etc.

Ellendale is an older, rural community, located on the East side of U.S. Route 113. Most housing is well maintained and there's at least one new subdivision in the works. When I think of Ellendale, I think of the Southern Grille, a really good place on the main street, where you can get a decent meal, not over-priced. They feature home cooking, chicken 'n dumplins, being my favorite when I go there. They have specials every day of the week. Ellendale has a small police force, so I always watch my speed going through town. Ellendale has a local fire company on Main St. Like other small towns, there are some homes in disrepair, but I've not seen a lot of those. On weekends, Ellendale's main street can get busy with vacationers coming from Rt. 1 (Coastal Hwy.) west through Milton, west through Ellendale, crossing Rt. 113, and west to Greenwood, Rt. 13 and Maryland destinations. Closest shopping places from Ellendale are Rt. 113 north to Milford, and Rt. 113 south to Georgetown. Overall, a nice little town with moderate home prices.

As RDLR stated, Southern Grille is probably the most popular place in Ellendale. This is a really really small town and can be driven through in the blink of an eye. I've only passed through the town several hundred times on Rt 16 and can say there isn't much there.
