Any input on how much residential snow removal services cost per year in Denver? Do they also do the sidewalk & walkway to the front door?

I know it will be dependent on the size of the driveway, so assume a short driveway of the type a new house in Stapleton may have.

Thank you.

Doesn't Stapleton follow the rest of the city and generally have alleyway access in the back? If that is the case and so long as you don't have a corner lot I would think the cleanup effort would be minimal, you are only responsible for clearing your sidewalks, and not everyone does and I've never seen a ticket issued.

Even though this doesn't directly answer your question, some HOAs provide snow removal service. I live in a small group of townhomes and my HOA takes care of snow removal, even though I wouldn't mind doing it myself.

Thanks for the responses.

We travel a fair amount and (when we move) would like to hire a service for the winter to clear up the snow so the house looks lived in.

I don't think this will be an issue if we go with a townhouse - as cowboyxjon said.

How about a local high school kid? I used to have an agreement with an elderly neighbor when I was in high school to go to her house and shovel her walk and driveway anytime it snowed enough to need to be shoveled. If she was home when I came over, she paid me then. If she wasn't home, I left her a note and she paid me when she came home.

If I can find a local kid willing to do it, it would be ideal.

At our current home, I rely on my neighbors, and when they are away, I take care of their place. But, it takes time to build that kind of relationship.
