Hello all! We're in Denver and having a great time but I keep seeing these street signs that say, "No Double Turn."

What the heck does that mean?!? I don't recall ever coming across those anywhere before.

Thanks in advance for helping a rube out.

I believe it means that you can't make a left turn from the center lane, only from the left lane. I live next to one of these, and people disregard it all the time.

That's exactly what it means - there is only 1 left turn lane. You will find it often in intersections that have a large 'wedge' between the straight lanes and the left turn lane that looks like it could be used as a left turn lane to signify that there is in fact only one left turn lane even though it looks like it's wide enough for 2.

Thank you both for the clarification! Driving in a new city can be confusing.

There are a lot of those on Arapahoe east of i25. People do disregard them frequently. There are plenty of accidents too.
