My husband has interviews at 2 of them and he is wanting some "insider" info or just general ideas about them.........something other than what he can read on their websites. We are most grateful for any tidbit of info.....we are desperately trying to get out of SoCal and into gorgeous CO!

Thanks for the help you all usually give

I'm not sure quite what you're saying you want. Most websites will give you information about the statistical stuff, sales, CEO, blah, blah. The other more gossipy stuff isn't about to come up in an interview, or at least is not in good form to bring up in an interview. Maybe once you get an offer you can ask, "I heard this rumor, etc".

Default MC@, Frontier, RkyMtnMech'l

Been in the Denver metro area for 20+yrs. These are ONLY my opinions:
There is also an "MC2"electrical company, here; don't know if they're affiliated, tho.
Mc2 is always looking; much turnover because they hire form fillers, admin types to suit owners. They've been thru many "service managers". They try to "instruct" techs how to effect repairs based on their need for first, the "proper" paperwork, milking the (cust's) clock, and changing out parts.
Frontier - I worked for them(7yrs ago) for 8 days!!! Realized that all I was doing was going back on recalls/repeats made by the people they like to hire (i.e., no skill level, talk-the-talk, etc.) The cust never knows that who is sent out first is a beginner who runs up the clock-time and the guy who goes back (usually a TECH) has to argue with the cust, first, then (while under the gun) has to do it right!!
RkyMtnMech'l - Expensive (for the Cust) Looking(always) for more biz to support a pretty good staff of Techs.
If you're still thinking about a move, call the local suppliers - Johnstone(303.573.5626), Sid Harveys(303.623-1236), and "anonomously) talk to a counter-man.
Want a real offer (my opinion) -rench4u@aol.com if/when you get in town.
Welcome and Good Luck,
Walt

Wow, Thanks BizPart (Walt)! That is exactly the kind of info my husband is looking for. My husband will want to know if you are in the HVAC/R industry yourself?

Great sources you listed to "anonomously" call and chat. Thank you. Of course we want a "real offer!" So who/what is -rench4u? My curiousity is killing me
